Property owners are the key in the Countyā€™s fight to end homelessness! In an effort to increase the number of property owners participating in the Countyā€™s rental assistance programs, the LACDA launched a business model that provides an enhanced customer service experience for property owners.

Through a collaborative effort between the LACDA and Los Angeles County, Open Doors provides property owners with monetary and non-monetary assurances who rent their available units to subsidized families.

SIGN-ON BONUS
Sign-on bonus payable upon the execution of a Housing Assistance Payment Contract.

MOVE-IN ASSISTANCE
Available for participants that request assistance paying their security deposit.

DAMAGE MITIGATION
Up to $3,000 for repairs not covered by the security deposit

Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (VASH) Program: VASH vouchers may also be used in the Cities of Los Angeles, Pasadena, Baldwin Park, Norwalk, Burbank, Long Beach, Redondo Beach, and Kern County jurisdictions. 

Homeless Incentive Program (HIP):  Owners with available units in the Cities of Los Angeles, Pasadena, Inglewood, Baldwin Park, Norwalk, Burbank, Long Beach, Redondo Beach, Kern County, and LACDAā€™s regular jurisdictions may also participate in this Program.
