The public is invited to review the following cancelled projects of the County that had been included in the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Action Plan, which identifies projected use of funds for July 1, 2025 β June 30, 2026 for submission to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

Program Name: After-School Program

CDBG Allocation: $25,630
Description: This project would have provided supervised recreational activities for youth in grades 6-8 from the surrounding Los Angeles County unincorporated area and the City of San Gabriel during after school hours at Jefferson Middle School. The funds were declined due to compliance difficulties adhering to the new supporting documentation required from their program participants.
FIFTH SUPERVISORIAL PROJECT

Program Name: Wildfire Recovery β Charles White Park β Playground Replacement Project
Project Number: 602770-24
CDBG Allocation: $650,000
Description: This project would have funded the Charles White Parkβs playground with the replacement of playground equipment that work to provide an accessible, safe, and fun play space. The park location is 77 Mountain View St., Altadena, CA 91001. Another funding source was used by the Agency for this project.
