The public is invited to review the following cancelled project of the County that had been included in the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Action Plan, which identified projected use of funds for July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027, as submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

SECOND SUPERVISORIAL DISTRICT PROJECT

Program Name: FBO - Interim Housing - Site 2 Prefabricated Modular Units

Project Number: 602792-25

CDBG Allocation: $500,000

Description: This project would have provided funding for the on-site demolition of Praise Sanctuary Church and the construction of prefabricated modular units (at 10807 S. Vermont Ave., Los Angeles, CA). The cancelation is due to a change in project direction from installing interim modular housing to constructing permanent supportive housing. This activity met the HUD National Objective as a Low- to Moderate-Income Clientele (LMC) project under HUD Code 03C.
