The public is invited to review the following proposed off-cycle project of the County to be included in the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Action Plan, which identifies projected use of funds for July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026, for submission to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

Program Name: Small Business Technical Assistance (TA) in West Athens

Description: This new project provides TA to businesses in the Second District, located in unincorporated West Athens. The Program offers workshops, training, and one-on-one consultations to address needs of the local business community. TA topics may include, but are not limited to, general business information, access to resources, basic operational guidance, and referrals to relevant services provided by County Departments and partner organizations. The Agency (located at 8101 S. Vermont Ave., Los Angeles, 90044) will also conduct outreach to businesses along the Vermont corridor. This activity meets the HUD National Objective as a project serving Low- and Moderate-Income Areas (LMA) under HUD Code 18B.This is 30-day notice.
