The Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (VASH) Program provides rental assistance to homeless veterans and their families along with case management and clinical services through the Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) of Greater Los Angeles. The VAMC assesses applicants eligibility and service needs and then refers them to the Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA) for rental assistance. The LACDA will determine eligibility for rental assistance in accordance
with VASH regulations.
The LACDA executed Interagency Agreements to allow VASH Program-assisted families the flexibility to cross jurisdictional boundaries. VASH vouchers may be used in the Cities of Los Angeles, Pasadena, Inglewood, Baldwin Park, Norwalk, Burbank, Redondo Beach, and Kern County.
Interested veterans are encouraged to contact the following agencies. Please note, the VASH Program is for homeless veterans only.
